How come nobody posted any comment to this article? I think it makes a clear overview of what SVG can do. In my opinion, it is the strongest and the most elegant 2D graphical markup language , a succesfull competitor for the Macromedia ShockWave Format. It’s simple, efficient…based on XML syntax. I have worked with it and it has the abilities to create more powerfull animations, transformations and so on… than Flash has. SVG rules!
