This article is really on spot on. Well thought and well written.
I think that I’ll link to this article when I request advice from people.
This article also brings out the thought of how nice it would be if you could find even a “fee-based” forum that would offer a community of established and impressivly accomplished webmasters that offer well written, constructive, solid advice.
I think the best source of constructive criticism is non-designers: The sort of people who will use the site on a daily basis. Their responses will be much closer to the reaction of a typical user of the site. Truthfully, I think the opinion of another designer is more oftn for ego gratification-its nice to get a word of praise fron ones peers!
