Guidelines for Contributors
Submitting Articles
Proposals
Please use the contact the editor Web form for initial contact. Do not send full articles on initial contact. Only send summarized proposals of your article idea. When sending articles, include:
- Article title
- Article subtitle (if any)
- Article content
- Pull quotes
- Bibliography
- A one-paragraph bio with links
Profile
If we accept your article proposal we will email more specific information to you and eventually request your profile information:
- A photo of you (143x134 grayscale JPG)
- Your full name (as you want it presented)
- Your birthplace (city, state, country).
- The name of your employer and their URL.
- Your exact job title at that employer.
- Your Personal Website and/or Portfolio URL.
- A memorable quote (something specifically YOU said that you feel may be of value to our readers, it can be serious or comical).
- The titles and URLs of any articles you have written or have been involved with (i.e. an interview) ...it can be from any magazine, not just Digital Web Magazine. Please format these in traditional bibliography format (example: Finck, Nick. 'Liquid Web Design' Digital Web Magazine, August, 1999.).
- Your current geographical location (city, state, country).

If you plan to be a regular contributor (i.e. columnist or reviewer) we will set you up with your own email account on digital-web.com for you to use in your correspondence with outside sources.
