New Architect publishes a great article called form, function, emotion by Jennie Rose which reveals the inside story of the philosophy and process of Frog Design. There are notes here on what Frog did when they were given the task of redesigning SAP. Quoting the article, "Launched in 1999, R/3's new look was a big hit with customers" ...we, as a user of SAP, strongly disagree... with my limited experience with SAP I can first handedly agree that the SAP portal product has perhaps the worst user interface I have ever had the displeasure of seeing or using... period.
