Jeffrey Veen makes some comments on the accessibility of Flash MX, Thomas Vander Wal adds that Flash MX still has a long way to go.

Here is an interesting related point: While at SXSW a web designer showed off his 100% Flash based site in Justin Hall's Show & Tell session. When asked by the audiance why he choose Flash he responded "Jeffrey Veen said 'Flash is the future,' so I designed my site all in Flash" ...I still have a hard time believing Veen would say such a thing, but more to the point, this person's site had next to no interaction that would call for Flash. The site could have been done with a HTML and simple Javascript to scroll an image.

Point to take home: listen to what your peers are saying, listen cloesly, don't assume you know exactly what point they are trying to make.
