Recently there has been some discussion about a specific Flash site and how innovative it is right down to the UI. I admit it was pretty nice looking, but innovative? I mentioned that I would say a site is innovative when it can do the same thing in a open standard. For me, that means using things like CSS, XHTML, JavaScript, DOM and perhaps SVG. Yes, we all remember SVG, right? It's still around. Paul Prescod authors a great article on the subject, it is entitled "SVG: The sure thing" [from InfoDesign]
