Dave Shea has posted a excellent article about Color Schemes over on Mezzoblue. He talks about methods used for coming up with a good colour scheme which include technical, matching, and intuition. This is a very good primer for anyone trying to find a good color scheme.

Has anyone else come across a really good "color theory" resource such as those that Dave links into from his post? Just curous. I mean, I know there are "color" sites, but most really don't dive into "color theory" like this one here.
I can't say I have, Dave's article and the articles he links too are actually the first good articles I've ever seen on this topic.
There is a pretty comprehensive tutorial on color theory at Color Worqx.
Web Graphics link to a logical method of creating colour pallettes by Andy Clarke of Stuffandnonsense Thanks for the Color Worqx link. It is very comprehensive.
