Joe Gillespie just published another great issue of Web Page Design for Designers. In this issue is a great feature covering the topic of Adapting print design skills for the Web. Joe covers the area of what print skills can still be used in web design. I imagine we will see another feature which covers why print skills should not be used in web design as well.

Kudos to Joe for a good article, but can I be the only one thrown off by his choice of colors? Ugh.
Joe has always been a big fan of Blue for some reason.. maybe its the WPDFD brand color... it was a lot deeper and darker in the past.
Good article. But again its about going from print to web. It would be nice to see head to head comparison of web design and print design processes so it would be more or less clear where one is more complicated than other. Or where one is more expensive than other and so on... It would be also interesting to hear opinions on relative costs of mistakes in final product in print design and web design. Without going into details, in print design it is a loss of tangible material and human work. What about web design? Is it only human work wasted? And how can we measure other losses in web design?
