So if you haven't already go an sign-up to the newsletter for your chance to win.
grr... I subscribed... must not've been lucky 5150
hehehe... never know, do ya. I'll announce the winner here. But no, we're not there yet.
I will not be surpised if digital web is the top site for web design community. Good quality content. Best wishes, Sharad
Your comments scare me, Sharad. I know there are at least a few sites out there that do circles around Digital Web Magazine... or at least traffic and link-wise. But that's fine, this is not about beating out the competition, this about giving back to the community.
for all us uninitiated out here, whats a skinny mini?
Nick: I just subscribed, mostly because of the VH 5150 thing that stuck in my head. I've often used what I've learned here at Digital Web in the campaigns behind my book: http://tinyurl.com/5v32p. Small world, I guess.
I'm not sure I understand how this give away works: you send out the announcement in the newsletter to subscribers, but those who have already subscribed can't win? And non-subscribers find out about it how? re: your comment above about giving back to the community -- there's no reward here for the party faithful, so to speak.
i was kinda thinking the same as margaret...
The idea is to get people to tell their friends and such. You know, word of mouth. I think there are a lot of people out there who arn't quite tapped in to what is happening within the web community but work within this industry that should be keeping up to speed on the latest happenings as they often affect their jobs and work.
To, tig, a Skinny Mini is a smaller, skinnier Clip-n-Seal.
Hey Nick, I've enjoyed your newsletter a long time, probably more than a year now. So I'm kind-a disappointed that I can't take part in the first giveaway since I'm already a long-time, loyal subscriber... you know, the kind that should probably be able to enter a contest? Maybe whoever refers the winning subscriber should also win something. What do you think? All the above said with a smile ;)
