WebVisions 2005 Aftermath
July 18, 2005 at 9:43 AM
Ok, I am back home from WebVisions 2005 in Portland, Oregon. It's been like drinking from the fire hose these last several days from planning to dealing with the aftermath. I got to meet a lot of cool people for the first time that I had been talking with and emailing for a long time including Sarah Horton and Stewart Butterfield.
The wrap party and dinner was a blast. I am not sure you will see too many people blogging about it as I am sure most who were there wouldn't have remembered what happened last night by the time they got back to their hotel.
There are several photos for you to check out on Flickr. For those who couldn't make it, with any luck we'll be posting podcasts of every session of the day up on the WebVisions site as well as links to the presentations themselves. Stay tuned.
Last but certainly not least I want to publicly thanks to all of the executive planning committee members for making this happen, to all of volunteers for lending a hand, to all of the technical and A/V people for making it happen without a hitch, to all of the speakers and panelist for doing a wonderful job, and of course to all of the attendees for just showing up.
