We are happy to announce the winners of our snowboard design contest. Judges were Dan Cederholm, Dave Shea, Veerle Pieters, (all speaking at the Web Directions North conference that inspired the contest), and the Digital Web staff: Tiff Fehr, Nick Finck, Kerri Hicks, Matthew Pennell, Walker Hamilton, and me. The top five winners, in order, are:
- Mark Hernandez
- David Melton
- Geoff Gibson
- Dene Denend
- Anton Peck
Congratulations, Mark! We’ll be awarding our lovely list of prizes this week to these winners and to our runners-up, based on winners’ availability to attend the conference, preferences, and so forth. See the list of our top 10 winners, and our two special Innovative Board Award winners, and the full list of prizes on our contest page. Those are some really awesome boards. I'd even buy one or two of them!
I know! Some pretty talented artists. One of them already got a freelance gig because of being in the contest, and has seen a huge increase in traffic to his site.
Thanks so much to you Carolyn, and the Digital Web team for coming up with such a fantastic concept, and putting together the great prizes and more! john for the web directions team
