WebVisions 2008 Contest!
It's not too late to score a free pass to WebVisions, Portland's annual two-day conference on the future of the web (May 22-23). In fact, Digital Web Magazine has not one, but two passes to the event, and nothing could make us happier than awarding them to some lucky winners. Interested? Read on!
WebVisions 2008 features a fantastic lineup of speakers, including Jeffrey Veen, Dan Rubin, Kimberly Blessing, and our own Nick Finck!
One lucky first-place winner will receive a conference pass plus admission to the Type Class workshop with typography guru Roger Black. One second-place winner will receive a pass to the conference, and our third-place winner gets a fabulous WebVisions tee shirt (available to ship within the US only - sorry, rest of the world).
So how do you enter? Simple! Just put on your thinking caps and come up with the most absurd pitch for a company/web app/whatever. The catch: it can only be one sentence long!
Example: Kritter: It's like Twitter, only for pets.
Send your entry to digweb.contest@gmail.com by Wednesday, May 14 at midnight, using the subject line "WebVisions Contest". Good luck!
